The Air Jordan Retro 1 High "NYC" has just been released to the public (September 18th 2014) for $700! If you don't mind spending $700 on a shoe then i would recommend this very much. There is one problem though... you can only buy these shoes in New York City! The nice thing about the internet is that you can buy things from almost anywhere in the world. If you're not planning on going to New York anytime soon, then you can buy the Air Jordan Retro 1 "NYC" here. This shoe has a black suede underlay with a leather overlay. As well as , a white, grey speckled print mid-sole which is along with a black out sole. There is also the number “23” along one heel of the shoe and a “NY” on the other heel. I find this shoe to be very sharp looking as well as expensive. If i had $700 to spare then this is what I'd spend it on! Here is some pictures of the Air Jordan Retro 1 High "NYC":

Nike Lebron 12 "Instinct"

If you haven't heard of the Nike LeBron 12 then you definitely need to see this! There has been many months of speculation just for this shoe. There is going to be seven color ways which have release dates already. The Nike LeBron 12 “Instinct” has a vibrant color  while having a cool upper consisting of Megafuse and Flywire.  Also, Nike Zoom Air Units are found along the outsole and Hyperposite wings can be found along the heel counter. The Nike LeBron 12 “Instinct” will release on November 22nd. “This is Nike at its best: we take the insights from a world-class athlete in LeBron James to inform forward-thinking designs and create the most innovative shoes,” said Kelly Hibler, Nike Basketball VP of Footwear. “We’ve combined the art and science of engineering in the LEBRON 12 to advance the game of basketball’s best player.”  Also on the out sole of the shoe, Five visible, hexagonally-shaped Nike Zoom Air bags in the LEBRON 12 enhance natural motion while providing accelerated explosiveness with each step. I really like these shoes. They really have some exciting new technology, and some great color ways in my opinion.

Nike KD Trey II "China" , Kevin Durant's Signature Shoes, & The Big Sean x adidas Originals Metro Attitude

 If you want a cheap signature shoe then look no further! The KD Trey II "China" is a very sharp looking shoe that is dropping today! (September 18th 2014) The retail price of this shoe is $110. The color that this shoe has is Wolf Grey, Diffused Jade, and Cool Grey. In case you didn't know, this shoe is professional basketball player Kevin Durant's signature shoe. I personally really like this shoe. Especially the Diffused Jade coloring with the classic grey. This is what really makes the KD Trey II really stick out to me. I think the gold Nike Swoosh is also a signature touch by Kevin Durant.

The Big Sean x Adidas Originals Metro Attitude

A couple weeks ago kicksonfire.com got to talk to Big Sean about his collaboration with people in his life. With the release of his third collaborative efforts with adidas coming close to the release date, The Big Sean x adidas Originals Metro Attitude looks like an awesome shoe to get.  

The Big Sean x adidas Originals Metro Attitude is inspired by Big Sean’s love for Hawaii and the G.O.O.D Music’s recording studio.The crazy mix of colors on a lot of the shoe really make the shoe look sharp. While Black suede and leather cover a lot of the sneaker’s canvas, a little bit  of gold on the heel, ankle, and tongue add a signature touch to the sneaker while a white mid sole finishes it off.  The Kobe 9 university red colorway has just dropped on September 13 (yesterday) for the retail price of $200. These shoes have some awesome color on them called University Red with Black. The Kobe 9 features three leading technologies: Flyknit, Flywire and Lunarlon. Flyknit provides a lightweight, breathable solution for a summer basketball shoe that performs equally well indoors or outdoors. Flyknit and Flywire technologies are a one-two punch, leading to a dynamic fit for intricate, on-court footwork. Eliminating bulk and distraction was a focus on the shoe with disciplined design in a low cut with no distractions. Something that Ireally like about this shoe is the black mid sole has mint speckles as well as the laces. Here are some pictures of these great shoes:

 “Are we gonna see power laces in 2015? To that, I say YES!” Hatfield said back in February. Tinker Hatfield confirmed that power lacing would be available in 2015 but no one knew if he was talking about  the Nike Air Mag. The Mag 2015 might actually be equipped with a hands-free self-lacing system. Now we supposedly have an exact date for the Nike Air Mag‘s which is September 8 2015. This date is unconfirmed but this is when everyone thinks they are coming. The future is coming and you won’t even need to touch your laces to prepare for it. In 2011, Nike released 1,500 pairs of the worn by Michael J. Fox‘s fictional character Marty McFly in Back to the Future II. So this shoe is very hyped. Sold exclusively on eBay and at live charity events, the Mag 2011 raised over $5.6 million for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.  When Marty and Doc set a course for 2015,  (this was the actual year they went to in the movie)Marty slipped on a self-adjusting jacket and put on a pair of shoes that automatically laced themselves up.  In this blog I will be talking all about shoes. Anything you want to know about hot new shoes you came to the right place. Ill start of by saying I've been interested in shoes for about 5 years. I have had many pairs over the years. These all include signature shoes from top athletes like Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant,  and even Micheal Jordan. I think shoes describe a person in a lot of ways. This can tell you about there 'taste', personality, and even the amount of confidence. I think this is why i'm still so interested in shoes. I like to have pretty 'bright' shoes so i can show some confidence. The shoes I wear can tell a lot about me. Like if you look at my shoe collection you can probably tell that I wouldn't be afraid to say something. Since we have been talking about shoes being 'bright' i would like to talk about a shoe called the Air Jordan Ferrari. The Air Jordan 14 Ferrari design had its inspiration from the Ferrari 550 Maranello. The color of this shoe matches the signature color of the Ferrari, the main color of red with a yellow touch. I think these shoes are very cool because they get their design from a sports car!These shoes drop on September 6th for a retail price of $200.

The Air Jordan XX9 is a brand new shoe dropping on September 6th just like the Air Jordan 14 Ferrari but for $225. This shoe has two colorways,Black/White-Gym Red and Black/Team Orange-Dark Grey. The Air Jordan XX9 has evolved Flight Plate coupled with the first-ever performance-woven upper. This is supposed to make the shoe feel and play as if it were made specifically to each athlete’s foot. The Air Jordan brand president,Larry Miller stated: “Our mission is laser-focused: We want to provide the absolute best performance products to our athletes, from elite high school athletes to professional players competing for championships,” said Miller. “By shifting to a fall launch, we ensure players around the world will have the very best in performance and style available as they prepare for the season.” Vice president of Creative Concepts Tinker Hatfield stated: “In the past, we've drawn inspiration from myriad places—everything from fighter jets to motorcycles—and have ended up with some pretty fun designs along the way,” said Tinker Hatfield, Vice President of Creative Concepts. “This year, our inspiration and challenge to ourselves was to create the best performance basketball shoe ever—and I think the XX9 and the performance-woven upper pay that off.” I feel like this shoe can be revolutionary in the game of basketball. Making the best players even better.
